Musings From The Great Cerberus

On Mathematics

There are many branches of mathematics. There is algebra which concerns itself with the manipulation of equations. Then there is linear algebra which is centered on the matrix and on vector spaces. There is geometry which is the study of spatial properties. Then there is calculus which is the study of changes. There is differential equations which concerns the techniques for solving them. There is group theory which focuses on the properties of groups. There is number theory which is centered on the properties of numbers. There are many more branches to be discussed later...

On Programming

Object-oriented programming is a programming paradigm which emphasizes the use of data structures called objects. Objects have data attributes and functions often referred to as methods. Object-oriented programming is often contrasted with other paradigms such as functional programming.

On Gardening

There are several methods to propagate plants. Plants can be started from seed. They can be divided at their roots. They can be layered. They can be started from cuttings.

The papyrus plant is an interesting plant due to its aquatic nature and long history. The pineapple plant creates its fruit from multiple little fruits that expand and fuse together. The dragon fruit is a cactus whose fruit has a somewhat bland taste, although it can be refreshing. Some other plants of interest are cilantro, spearmint, basil and tea.
